Buddhist Council of NSW: Voice to Parliament Referendum Workshop
September 2 @ 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm
The Buddhist Council of NSW hosts Buddhist Council of NSW: Voice to Parliament Referendum Workshop on 2nd September 2023.
At this workshop, we will:
- hear from Jack Beetson, an Aboriginal man,
- have a Buddhist perspective from Bhante Sujato
- and discuss details of the referendum.
We will then work together on a response to the invitation in the Uluru Statement, based on Buddhist values that we can share with the wider community. We will also provide resources in English and community languages that you can share within your organisation.
Please register for the workshop at https://events.humanitix.com/bcnsw-voice-to-parliament-referendum-workshop. so we have an idea how many people to cater for.
